1 chili pepper (optional)
8 cups water (2L)

2 tbsp Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
1 tbsp soybean paste (doenjang)
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp soup soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
